Presentations: Voting is the Basis of Our Democracy (led by Judge Dominic F. Pileggi, Delaware County Court of Common Pleas; How the Pennsylvania Legislature Works (led by Rosemarie Halt, Senior Policy Director for the Maternity Care Coalition and former State Legislature leader); Reapportionment and Redistricting (led by Charles Day, Fair Districts PA); and Our Pennsylvania Judicial System (led by Thomas Pietryla, Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts). Meet at Players Club of Swarthmore, 614 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore PA 19081, at 9:30 am. Bus returns at 3 pm. Fall Excursion: Charter Bus Excursion to the National Constitution Center, 525 Arch St., Philadelphia PA 19106. A special guided tour through the Center's exhibit "Hamilton: The Constitutional Clashes That Shaped a Nation". The exhibit explores the constitutional debates that shaped early America and some of the personalities involved, including Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Aaron Burr. Trip includes access to the Museum after the tour. Lunch not included.
